Please do not use abrasive scour pads on the concrete, as it can scratch the product and break down the sealer. Avoid exposure to harsh products such as bleach, acetone, and nail polish remover. If exposure occurs, rinse immediately with water to neutralise the effect, and then follow usual cleaning procedure. To avoid marking, do not leave moist or wet products directly on concrete for long periods, wipe up water spills straight away. For stubborn stains, use a non-acidic and non-abrasive multi purpose cleaner. Avoid forceful scrubbing as this may result in loss of shine and may remove the protective sealer. Direct sunlight can cause concrete to slowly discolour over a long period of time. Avoid impact on edges and the surface with hard objects. With daily use, your concrete product may develop scratches, marks, and chipping overtime. To maintain the surface of your concrete product we suggest polishing the surface with wax every six months. We recommend using a nontoxic natural beeswax polish such as Gilly’s Liquid Beeswax, which is available for purchase online or through major hardware retailers.
